  1.             FairShare Help

  3. Fairshare is a utility to automatically update the userlog according to SYSOP
  4. specified parameters.
  5.  
  6. Those parameters are set using the FairShare menu. Enter your BBS Name,
  7. the pathname for the folder where you want your data files to reside (Please
  8. end this in a Colon), and the preferred creator for those files. Example,
  9. entering MACA will cause the files to open Macwrite.

  11. Your parameters will not be saved until you make the appropriate choice from
  12. the File menu.
  13.  
  14. Fairshare allows you to decide what reports to produce. Simply check the
  15. appropriate boxes on the setup screen. You can also elect display of the
  16. user's sequential number, and whether they appear Lastname, first or Vice
  17. Versa.

  19. You may specify 5 levels as 'action levels' for Fairshare. Users above the
  20. level entered in the appropriate box will not be touched by status changes
  21. regardless of their fairshare.

  23. Printing: It's possible from Fairshare, but formatting is minimal. For
  24. formatted printing, we suggest using a word processor.
